On the day of a prisoners execution, they may see their family until a few hours before their death. Once their families leave, they receive spiritual guidance from a religious advisor of their choosing. This time is meant for the prisoner to reflect on their life, their crime and the afterlife.
The prisoner is woken in the middle of the night and brought to the firing range. They are then given the option to sit, stand or kneel, and also whether they want their eyes covered or not.
They are tied to a post in front of twelve executioners, three of whom have bullets (The others carry blanks.) The prisoner receives three minutes to calm themselves and say their final words before the executioners take aim at their heart.
The prisoner will either die instantly or bleed out. If they do not die, the execution’s commander shoots the prisoner in the head with a shotgun.
