In 2004, Enemuo was sentenced to the death penalty for drug smuggling. Little is known regarding Enemuo or the circumstances surrounding his arrest.

 

Photos from his open casket funeral were released to the media. Among them is a picture in which his shirt is open and a sewn up bullet hole is visible.
